When the World Shakes, Strengthen Your Marriage
This week has been a tender one—a reminder of just how fragile and precious life really is.
With the passing of our beloved Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, and the heartbreaking loss of four members of our Church family, our hearts have felt heavy. And yet, through the grief, we’ve also seen something beautiful: love, faith, and unity shining through the sorrow.
During General Conference, President Dallin H. Oaks shared a message that resonated deeply: the strength of society depends on the strength of families. He reminded us that family is central to God’s divine plan—and that the decline in marriage, birth rates, and belief in this sacred design is one of the greatest challenges of our time.
That truth has never felt more real.
Marriages today are being tested in countless ways. The world is loud with confusion, distraction, and division. But inside our homes, we have the power to create a different story—a story filled with peace, faith, and divine partnership.
So today, take a moment to pause and reflect:
👉 Where can you strengthen your marriage?
👉 What small act of love could you offer to bring more safety and connection to your home?
We can’t always control the storms that swirl around us—but we can choose how we build within our walls. Strong marriages don’t just survive the storm; they become the shelter in it.
Let’s honor President Nelson’s legacy by living the truths he taught:
Love deeply.
Forgive quickly.
Choose faith over fear.
You’re not alone in this sacred work. Heaven is cheering for you every step of the way.
